What is CAST-USA

CAST-USA is a nation-wide organization by, of and for the Chinese-American scientists and professionals headquartered in New York, USA. For a decade, CAST-USA has been dedicating its cause to promoting exchanges of science and technology between America and China, to serving best interests of our members, and to facilitating Chinese-Americans’ career development. CAST-USA board members, chapter and society leaders have been showing great efforts and leadership in pursuing these goals in the past decade since it’s founding in 1992.

CAST has become one of the most prestigious leading professional organizations and established extensive collaborative relationships with various institutions and organizations both in America and China. We arrange variety of educational, technical, and business seminars, conferences to bring scientists and researchers, and entrepreneurs together to promote partnership. We also organize delegations to and from China for even much closer collaboration.

CAST-USA’s Expansion

CAST-USA has been expanded its local chapters to U.S east coast, west coast, as well as central and southern states in recent years, with geographical areas covered more than 30 states and members over 4,000. Today, CAST-USA is truly a nation-wide professional organization and the home for Chinese-American professionals and scholars

CAST-USA’s local chapters that currently exist and are under development include: Greater New York Chapter (New York, New Jersey), Washington DC Chapter (DC, Maryland), California Chapter (LA, San Diego, Silicon Valley), Pennsylvania Chapter (Pittsburgh), Utah Chapter (Salt Lake City), Connecticut Chapter, North Carolina Chapter (Triangle Research Park), Indiana Chapter, Virginia Chapter, and Texas Chapter Organizing Committee.

We also have nation-wide professional societies across U.S. Continent such as CAST Electronics and Information Technology Society, CAST Bio-technology & Pharmaceutical Society, CAST Engineering Society, CAST Chinese Medicine Society, CAST e-Business Society, CAST Network Society, CAST Entrepreneur Society, CAST New Media Society, CAST Human Social Engineering Society, and CAST Agricultural Science Society, CAST Chemical Professionals Society.
